Accreditation Categories
All accreditation categories are aligned with CAA and World Athletics championship standards. Select your category to begin your application.
Accreditation for competing athletes and their supporting delegation, compliant with World Athletics athlete identification protocols.
For all technical and competition management officials appointed by CAA or the Local Organising Committee to oversee the Championships.
For the Local Organising Committee members, volunteers, and protocol staff involved in delivering the Championships from the Ghana side.
For accredited media organisations covering the Championships in line with CAA Media Accreditation Guidelines. Applications reviewed by the Media Committee.
For Government Officials, CAA Council members, Executives, commercial partners, and specially invited guests attending the Championships.
For all operational and technical partners providing services at the Championships under LOC coordination, including timing and results providers.
Process
From your initial application to collecting your badge on-site, the process is straightforward and fully digital.
Select your accreditation category, complete your personal profile, and submit required documents through this portal. Applications via your National Federation are also supported.
Your application is reviewed by GAA and the LOC Accreditation Committee in line with CAA and World Athletics standards. You will receive email notifications at each stage.
Upon full approval, your personalised badge is produced with your photo, category colour code, zone access, and a unique QR code for on-site verification.
Collect your badge from the Central Accreditation Centre at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium from 18 August 2026. Bring your original ID document.
